Thistlecrack Grousegas is the son of Windwithe Mullingar Micky of Thistlecrack and Humberflair Ross Lynx. Both of whom play a crucial role in our picking up team. Both parents are also great peg dogs and have the temperament to take a day of shooting all in their stride. Grouse is what we have been striving to achieve through our labradors breeding program. He has it all, great drive, great looks, great posture and great attitude to his work. We have high hopes for Grouse’s field trials career when he is ready, he is already showing such promise.

Thistlecrack Fernando is the son of the runner up of the 2018 cocker championship Heolybwlch Denman and field trial aware winner Beggarbush Hazel. He is a very strong and powerful dog with all the looks. He plays a major part in our picking up and beating team. Rufus is a hard going dog with bags of style. He is an experienced stud dog and throws a range of colours including lemon, golden, black and tan, liver and tan. Inbreeding coefficient for THISTLECRACK FERNANDO is 20.2%.
Helmsway Warrior of Thistlecrack aka Chip

Chip is the son of the 2019 cocker championship winner & field trial champion Kiltonbeck Rollo and field trial champion Bishwell Black Lace. Chip is a medium size cocker with a very high drive, great athleticism. We plan to trial him in the season 2024/25. He is producing very nice offspring and some of his pups are already competing in field trials and working tests. Chip is an extremely handsome dog and his pedigree is second to none.

Field trial winner and open trial award winner Hagghouse Preddator is the son of Field trial champions Windhill Brett of Stagsden & Killhopemoss Melody. He’s a very strong and powerful springer with an excellent work ethic and a pedigree to match. He is fearless in heavy cover with high drive but also has an off switch and will happily sit on the peg or patiently wait as part of the picking up team in shoot days. He is an experienced and proven stud dog and is calm around maiden bitches. He has produced good litters of quality pups.
